The Starbucks Reserve bar is a must visit! We enjoyed our night here so much, thanks to our amazing barista who took the time to find us exactly what we wanted, even though we were totally lost. Everything we had was to-die-for. Not your average Starbucks experience, that is for sure.

You can of course order normally, but I suggest sitting and taking your time at the reserve bar if you can.

    [FUN FACT]
This Starbucks location is the only *RESERVE* Starbucks in all of Hawaii!! What does this mean?? Well, for one this location has a selection of the "rarest, most extraordinary coffees Starbucks has to offer -- which includes single-origin coffees from all around the world. These reserve coffees cost a tiny bit more because they originate from small farms owned by real people! Support these farmers and enjoy higher quality coffee -- it's a win-win situation! (I recommend the Kona, iced or hot!)

    [DRINKS & FOOD]
I've explored different drinks from both the core and reserve bar -- all of which have been amazing! I personally like the iced dark chocolate mocha (reserve) and iced hazelnut bianco latte (reserve) when I'm craving something creamy. Both aren't too sweet because the dark chocolate is semi/sweet compared to the regular mocha. The hazelnut bianco is not made with syrup but with a hazelnut paste which allows for a less artificially sweet taste. My go-to's are the reserve cold brew (sometimes with cascara cold foam), the new iced guava white tea lemonade (no liquid cane) and the seasonal blueberry black iced tea (no liquid cane sugar). If you're wanting a unique experience, try one of the reserve items! If you're getting an espresso drink (shots, americano, etc.), go for the reserve! From the food items, the blueberry bagel is a good choice because it's only available in Hawaii! (Ask for it toasted with cream cheese!)

    [ATMOSPHERE]
I love the aesthetic of this reserve store! There are fresh flowers in the middle of the store and an iconic wall (behind the reserve bar) featuring beautiful Italian wood and a visualization of the islands. (You can ask for a picture behind the bar, in front of the wall!) During peak hours, the cafe can get loud and overcrowded -- so try to go when it's less busy!

    [SERVICE]
The baristas are very helpful, accommodating and friendly even during busy hours!

    [OVERALL]
This reserve bar gets a 5/5 stars! This Starbucks offers coffee workshops and a unique overall experience!

    [SET-BACKS]
Parking can be hard to find -- though on Sundays, street parking is free! There is free WiFi but no outlets -- and there are no restrooms available for customers. The nearest restrooms are at Nordstrom (by the men's shoes), Ross and the International Marketplace.

We went today for the free weekly Wednesday at 1 pm class! We had so much fun! Ryan is one of the baristas there and was also teaching today. He is super fun, personable, and very knowledgeable on all things coffee related.

We were the only two today so he wanted to teach us how to brew on the Chemex system if we haven't done it before. Of course, we are pretty basic and really just use Keurigs at home so we were all for it. He spent time grinding some of their new reserve small-lot coffee and teaching us about the farm and coffee bean itself. He instructed how to pour the water in a certain pattern and what to look for to pull out the best flavors. At the end, we got to enjoy our own hand-brewed coffee! We had an absolute blast and will definitely be back in the future for more classes.

I am obsessed with Starbucks Reserves and had to check out this location on Oahu. I enjoy the coffee bar with the map of the islands behind and the seating to just enjoy a special coffee. The layout is a little odd since it is a narrow long room and gets a little bunched up in the middle with tables, pick up area, and line converging on one. The staff were quite helpful in offering reserve options and as always, I like the separate not-regular sbux menu. I knock this place down a star because I collect the gift cards in my travels and they required me to load money on one to be able to have it. I've seriously travelled all over the world, including the new one in Italy, and this never has happened. Starbucks, you are taking my money left and right, you can afford a 1 cent gift card as a souvenir to your traveling clientele. lame.

Already the day did not start off well with the debacle of Heavenly restaurant. We came here after of being mistreated.

However, this whole Starbucks experience turned out redemptive. We felt so much better entering through these doors. We got a venti green tea latte for free (the staff made an extra one), I got my oatmeal, and the staff worked pretty quickly to fulfill our orders. So I felt that someone looked after us and wanted us to start our day well.

A millions thanks to Starbucks for making my day better by working as a team.
